new foundation programme studying 'the new heart of wisdom'

Sundays 9.00am - 1.30pm with half hour break midway
@ Pure Land Buddhist Centre with Kelsang Chonyi

  • Starting September 11th 2016 , we will be studyingThe New Heart of Wisdom' by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Based on the renowned Heart Sutra , this book presents the very essence of all Buddha's teachings. The first part reveals the profound meaning of emptiness, the true nature of all things, and how we can use this understanding practically in our life to eliminate our inner problems and dissatisfaction. We will learn about the relationship between our mind and our world as well as a special method for overcoming obstacles in daily life which will help us realize our full potential. Ultimately the wisdom of emptiness combined with compassion for others will enable us to free ourself and others from suffering permanently.
  • Either of our Foundation Programmes are open to those who have already been coming along to our drop-in classes for a while and hence have a good background understanding. The Foundation Programme has a commitment to attend every session for the section of study you sign up for but you can arrange to try out a couple of sessions before deciding if you would like to join.
  • More details and dates
  • Contact us if you have any further queries or if you would like to try out a couple of sessions for free.
