Can you help?
Pure Land Centre belongs to everyone and we want to create a beautiful environment where everyone will feel welcome and comfortable. In order to do this there is quite a bit of work to do including:
- painting and decorating
- plumbing
- plastering
- cleaning and unpacking
- sewing
- gardening
- cooking (to sustain the people doing the other jobs)
Any help is greatly appreciated - even if you just have an hour or two to spare. Please contact the admin director, Jenny Parsons, if you would like to be involved
Continued fundraising
We still need to raise funds to create a beautiful Dharma Centre - because the kind building supplies people will be happy if we can pay them. So please continue to contact us if you have fundraising ideas or would like to make a donation. Any donation, big or small, is much appreciated and will bring benefit to many people.
Summer festival with Venerable Geshe-la
Finally, don't miss the chance to attend all or part of this years very special summer festival. The festivals are a wonderful opportunity to receive Teachings directly from Venerable Geshe-la. This year will be his last scheduled teachings so they will be very busy. Book now to avoid disappointment! If you're wavering, just talk to someone who's been before . . . .
